So many people don't know the definition of capitalism is a system where the wealthy (capital) make the decisions on how society's resources are allocated (investment). Government (the public) does not play a role in that decision making. So the decisions are made for their private gain, not the public interest.
Capitalism has nothing to do with "markets" or "freedom" or "competition." Those CAN happen with "government interference" through laws and regulations.
