I recognize I use the term "fascist" a bit more expansively than is typical of at least American discourse, but I think it's justified. In particular, I treat ideologies that inexorably leads to fascism or that necessarily profit fascists as themselves being fascist in nature.
Partly, that's a recognition that while there's a bright line between "fascist" and "not fascist," there's still useful delineations between different degrees and kinds of fascism.
