The other event is the passing of my mother, two years ago today.
I am still very saddened thinking about her absence. I have so many great and fun memories too. I enjoy the sense of humor she gifted me and my lifelong love of reading.
I owe her so much for the peace I am finally finding now.
When I was a very angry, reactive young man, she was patient with me and supported me starting on this path. The poise she found around my age inspired me through much of my adult life.
