COOL FREE RINGTONES (npub10l8…vrsg) :ihavenomouth: (npub1srh…8g90) Scroll up the see we have some new issue cropping up. Maybe it's a Pleroma issue that might get a work-around fix for older instances or someone will write an MRF or something to fix it. It's still retarded and IDK whats going up but arguably it shouldn't be happening (a case of Pleroma devs [intentionally?] fucking shit up?)

Soapbox, i mean rebased, while ran by a retarded Vegan might be the closest thing we have. I don't believe it forces SoapboxFE in your face and we can just keep using this Frontend. IDK what it truly offers in spite of Pleroma but moving away from the Pleroma bullshit is cool.
You can absolutely run an old frontend (like this one) and somethings like Ackkoma make it a primary thing to run your own frontend. Arguably if you want I could even hack up an older, more stable version of PleromaFE to maybe at bare-minimum support for QRT (which was recently added to Pleroma and might be the root issue fucking everything up)
. The latest PleromaFE is slow as nuts and genuinely made me come to this instance to a degree because I hated the new PleromaFE's performance. I also believe it has smooth migration stuff too but you can't spell Smooth in anything related to Pleroma

FWIW there's no real way you can get truly hacked besides the stupid media proxy thing wot nobody cares about (i think we have it disabled anyway). Server-side, no real exploits I know about, just shitty FE quirks. Either way you can update the backend to something else.
