The point about the actions of a family member makes me think of the AI systems Israel is using to target homes of suspected militants in Gaza. Needless to say, they haven't been terribly accurate. I believe there's a human approval system, but that's basically been blind approval. No reason to think the same wouldn't occur with CBDCs
