So. AI, in its current form as a marketing term for LLMs and generative AI images, simply doesn't work. That's well established by now, and is the understanding that's consistent with theory a priori anyway.
But there's another aspect to AI boosterism that gets to me. Even if AI *did* work, which again, it doesn't, that *still* wouldn't justify the massive transformations that AI boosters demand we put society through.
