I met with my friend this afternoon and she was telling me about our mutual friend and her boss who is already beginning to complain and grouse too much about Trump.
"Trump Derangement Syndrome, eh?" I said.
She had never heard the phrase! She's not a political junkie, just a little NPR in the background. I'm guessing NPR almost never refers to their base in such unflattering terms that might make them wonder if the level of obsession is normal.
