i used to trade on 1:100 with a 10% min exposure on forex back in 2008 and in 3 months i 7x my (89% liquidated) deposit

just took me a while to figure out the ratios

but it all depends on skimming liquidity, and i tried the same technique on Bitfinex in 2015 and got wiped out by the cryptokitties hackers induced panic attack

truth was that there was no margin or reserve ratio that worked on bitcoin at that time, i was already losing a lot, they just took the last of it

what i would say is that making money for nothing requires people to get mowed, ultimately, haircut style, from overleverage and under-reserve

these days i say, just use the damn money: ie #bitcoin

you will end up better off in the long run

all this trading is just gambling on the caprice of psychopaths with too much money and too many media companies in their pockets
