The massive coverup and simultaneous open secret right now is that the Houthis seriously damaged the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower in the Red Sea, effectively rendering combat-incapable. They may have even done so using Russian-supplied weaponry. This is a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered carrier and just got effectively crippled.
