Having *eaten* a good amount of British food in the UK, I'm going to go ahead and insult it. Although some of it *is* very good, it really does seem like the staples come from the depression era. It isn't *abhorrent*, but it is very often pretty boring, with a handful of admittedly wonderful exceptions.

I'll still agree that the pubs are still better than what Dicey's eating.
