Yes, I am American.
I would agree that our elections are dirty and fully compromised. No doubts or arguments there, however, I have to question the validity of approval ratings in a country like the Russian Federation. Putin is very much feared as much as respected. I don't even really buy into our country's measure of approval of candidates. Maybe it's the anarchist in me that makes me biased against politicians in general.
