My mom went downhill literally the day after we picked up that piece, so I never got the chance to show it to her. It just seemed frivolous and out of place with all the more compelling issues we were dealing with. Mom's energy was limited and her focus was narrowing down to family and food. I got her her favorite foods to try to keep her eating, visited every day, and helped her FaceTime with family.
