I remember unlocking my phone where my social app was the last thing I was looking at, and seeing something on my screen that was interesting, only to have it auto-refresh on me and never be able to find that post again. Hugely frustrating. I should be able to find it knowing who posted it and when. That shouldn't be hidden from me now that I've hypothetically seen it already.
