More this. WTF is with registering to vote? If you are a citizen you can vote - period. You might need ID of course, but having a completely separate requirement to register is silly.

But I guess in a country where there is a window to register for health insurance, nothing would be surprising.

And yes, it's all about making it harder to vote.
