An extra irritation to me about Trump is that he's managed to create all this chaos as a rather dimwitted man.
I really do think his intelligence is subpar -- but that what he DOES have is a sharp animal instinct that responds to what he perceives as his best interests at any given moment. There's no strategy. There's not even any strategery. It's just one siloed reaction after another.
