I am sure it is one of those situations where it is impossible to please everyone. I felt disappointed by the announcement; from a user standpoint, I would prefer Proton's efforts to be focused on about 30 different areas before developing a crypto wallet. However, from their perspective as a profitable company, it may make more sense. Alternatively, perhaps this is something that many users requested and of which I am unaware. I'm not leaving Proton, just my feedback.
