Unless the tools get reviewed in depth by some credible security researchers, I wouldn't trust them one second. Rip out the snake oil "features", fix the xpub leak in the mixer and you are left with nothing.
Yes, I am not convinced the Samourai devs are not spooks. Unless they really land behind bars for a long time, as far as I'm concerned this was just their exit to plausibly leak all xpubs to the feds.
