The rest of the dude's post was pretty anti trans, so I'm pretty sure he was concern trolling and just doesn't want trans kids to be able to transition in any capacity. That said, you are more informed than me on advances in trans medicine, and I'm hoping the US can catch up on it. Unfortunately, we've got one teensy little obstacle, which is that a lot of voters are like this guy.
