It really is just a binary. I was ill for days after voting for Hil' Dawg in 16. BUT I DID IT.
To that end, a lot of the things Biden has done during his presidency make it much easier to vote for someone who I'm not prepared to excuse. It's not for me to deny the man the credit he's due. As presidents go, he's probably one of the better ones we've had, generally. If he were an abject failure, I'd be more inclined to give these folks some grace. But, like... damn.
