Definitely been happening to me a lot lately on nostr and telegram when attempting to answer questions about projects I'm working on and people who react with hostility because they think I'm trying to scam them or something 😔

My heart rate spikes, I start typing really fast. It's a total threat reaction. In this case, the threat is: "I thought me and this person could provide value to each other, but he's seeing me as an enemy and we're losing an opportunity for mutual benefit. How can I fix this?!"

It's not a good trait, but I find it hard to let it go of when I have the presumption that everyone has the potential to be a valuable collaborator. Optimistic maniac!
