I’m finding it mostly pretty silly so far, but Emma Thompson plays an interesting character and I’ll probably stick with it and see if there’s enough entertainment value to compensate for the implausibility. (It’s based on a book by Mick Herron, who wrote the books on which the series “Slow Horses” is based, so if you enjoyed that you might like this as well ... though the intelligence agency portrayed in “Cemetery Road” seems to be ten times more cartoonish than the version of MI5 in “Slow Horses”.)
