But is the liability trade off worth it to them?? Centralized control also equals centralized liability - just ask Discord who is being sued currently. Nostr puts accountability and liability back into the users hands - just like Gmail can’t be sued for someone sending nefarious emails through their client. Protocols-over-platforms is better for these tech giants in a lot of ways, but especially to avoid coercion and litigation.
