I think it’s clear this point is rhetorical at best, and ignorantly prejudiced at worst.
Glossing over the appearance that you seem to be compelled to have a rigidly formed opinion on this subject, for some reason I can venture guesses toward, let’s take a look at potential rubrics that apply in these very practical cases, and for a moment set aside our ideology. If we have in front of us a situation where one woman is for some reason an order of magnitude more adept at a sport than some other woman, we can see that this difference is measurable. We in fact already measure it. Are you aware of weight classes in boxing? Are you aware of classes in sports at all, and the way that they are measured and used to distinguish competitors that cannot compete outside of their class, but can do so inside of it? In what way is it more sensible to distinguish competitors based on some assumption about something that might cause being more adept when you can actually measure that adeptness, instead?
I, and any other reasonable person am wholly for discrimination built on the measurable rubric, on a case-by-case basis that actually involves unfair competition. I’m wholly for classes within sports, who isn’t? The argument that these classes are better suited to segregate competitors based on their testotsterone levels, genetic markers, amount of body hair, or the pitch of their voice or potential reproductive role, or even their assignment at birth, rather than their actual measurable adeptness is sort of misplaced, don’t you agree? Why not have categories within sports that allow literally anyone to compete with anyone who has a real chance of winning?
