I am a firm believer that "continued growth" IS the biggest enemy and that the capitalist system is inherently faulty ( because it promotes constant growth ). I am a believer that "there has to be reached a condition of equilibrium" where you "consume and re-grow what you consume" in a cycle that keeps going. Is that physically possible ? I don't know. Is the universe "doomed" to a second big-bang and re-start totally again all time for eternity ? Mah .. I don't know.
