The main purpose of public officials in the US is to keep the empire going, so I don’t have much enthusiasm for Harris, as she’s not going to deviate from that.

But I will say the enormous amount of money she’s raised proves we have the resources to build mechanisms that are self sustaining right now.

The challenge is that most people in the US believe politicians will save us, instead of investing in community initiatives to save ourselves.

So we keep going around in circles because we keep giving money to people that don’t take care of our needs in the hopes they will, magically, do one day.

We’ve wasted trillions chasing this fantasy.
