I'll be the first to point out that SpaceX is doing good work (funded by US taxpayers). I want more SpaceX work. It's great. Specifically, I want more Starlink, globally.
But Elon? No. He has no expertise in that, and his attention is elsewhere (and wrongly). He is caught up in social wars, and from the beginning decades ago, was always a narrative financier rather than an engineer.
