I think the US Republican administration is working towards the same end goal as the previous Democrat administrations: Eliminate suffrage, in exchange for a technocratic "utopia," which as is always the case for all human utopian endeavors, will likely as not kill a lot of the population while being proven faulty.
Trump has surrounded himself with technocrats, and whomever was running Biden got rid of voting/nominations when they installed Kamala as their candidate.
Thiel may be faster at it.
