I've been hearing from investor wonks on twitter that:
1. The west is setting up supply chains and passing laws to support a MAJOR upcoming war.
2. The illegal immigrants are being moved into western countries in prep for drafting them to fight.
3. Russia and China are all but allies at this point.
The timing with the election just over and all is very suspicious as you say, but I think this will be blamed on "CIA/Mossad" and is going to be Putin's 9/11 which will give him cover to expand the draft in Russia and begin an actual engagement with NATO.
The point you make about Trump is very salient. It looks like the oligarchy is going to use him as a sort of bait-and-switch, creating cover for a change of US policy.
I could imagine that change looking as follows:
1. Russia forgiven
2. China is the real enemy
3. US deep state is fired, replaced with Indian managerial class
4. Deep integration with India
5. India/China proxy war begins
If Trump takes Vivek for VP then I'd say this IS the plan.
