idk why I'm being coy about "a local indie bookshop" like I'm not wildly transparent that I live in Ōtautahi. It's Scorpio books. Of course it is, they're clearly full of delightful nerds and I love and support them. They also let me be annoying and use a gift card that has had $1 left on it for ages so I could finally be rid of it hahaha.
