I'm trying to adjust to this "having an assistant" situation. Cause first off, I've never had an assistant. Then this company went ahead and gave me a second one just because they like this person and I guess wanted to give her a pay bump.
But in terms of day to day tour operations, it seems over the years this company has fabricated tasks that I'd 100% categorize as "busy work" in that they are entirely redundant and unnecessary.
Then they say, "Well if you need to update a schedule item, you can just tell her to do it!" But let's say I know bus call is changing from 9am to 10am. It would take me less time to simply open up my phone, change a number, then continue on my way. Why would I ask someone else to do it?
