I reject the idea that, with our technology, we could not support a high-wellbeing society for everyone we have living (and more). Especially if we genuinely pushed for maximizing wellbeing instead of profits.
Human ingenuity is truly amazing and has yet to be harnessed in a direction to benefit all. The more we design economies to incentivize that, the better. And, as a hopeless optimist, I believe we can.
