So if you've been considering taking down / locking your old Twitter account, I just patched my version of the Twitter archiver script to support a wider range of archives. https://github.com/mcclure/twitter-archiver
(The twitter archive format has changed subtly over time, so this sort of thing is necessary. I doubt I have yet found all the tweaks needed to support all archives.)
Maybe I'll do some more work on the archiver this week (docs could use improvement and I would like better QRT support).
