I spent today mostly reading code for $dayjob, another repo I need to understand for my project. I thought I had developed some pretty tough mental calluses to the anti-patterns and misapplications of design patterns. The callouses, they did nothing. My equanimity helped me more.
Parts of project could be simple enough. Other requirements will either have to be punted pending some intense discussion or could drastically expand my project's scope.
