I’ve been reading SO much on Psychology, complex trauma, the nervous system, polyvagal theory, etc, etc, and me makes me think about the poor Red Pilled dudes. You see, I think most of them have these issues, and to compound the problem they’ve now got this idea that the concept of trauma doesn’t apply to men, they think men don’t need deep and meaningful connection, they suppress their feelings with their devotion to Stoicism, they find vulnerability to be shameful, and mock those who seek the help of mental health professionals.

And this is probably in large part due to their complex trauma, I know as I’ve had similar beliefs in the past. It’s that trauma that makes you believe that you can’t and shouldn’t ever rely on anyone else, that makes you find your emotions to be unhelpful, that fills you with shame.

I used to, and still do, worry about the women in these men's’ lives, but now, even more so, I worry about them. I have a few friends who have gotten caught up in this and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to hear about them putting a bullet through their head. In their current state I know they would do that long before they would reach out for help 😢
