I found this article that goes over how Arweave works (Odysee's new tech partner).
I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, but it's more of a way to protect media from being deleted than anything else. This helps content creators who are prone to being cancelled or if your content is on a platform that is about to go down.
Once the people reclaim the internet, it's over for the big companies.
