my point was really just that "it doesn't use exif because I've tried screenshots and examined the python code it runs" is a very different sort of argument than "it doesn't use exif because it guessed wrong before it guessed right"; the latter being reasoning more applicable to human agents (although failure-prone in that case too and deliberately exploited by human cheaters!)
