Was reminded of a particularly niche sort of pseudo-kino: Deployment films.
While guys were out there in the far reaches of the empire, they'd occupy their down time with video games, masturbation, and cutting together cool videos of their airframes whenever they weren't on a 36-hour diaper mission.
What's funny is that I can't tell what is a true period piece and what isn't, I have to assume this guy made them for real because these are a very good approximation of what you'd see playing in a base room circa 2003
