If the goal wasn't to force people to fund things no sane person would support, then all of the force & threats & propaganda would be unnecessary. Free exchange would be enough.
The freedom to stop funding a bad person or company is the only real consumer protection that exists, govt power always forces people to fund bad people & companies.
