yeah, it's something i know i could devise some logic to determine... if there's no DM kinds of events, the relay could close the websockets after like 5 seconds after opening and it would save so much resources

it's also something that you can't really ever solve if you are stuck inside the TCP box, but at the same time, UDP connectionless protocols are kinda still a black art and i don't think i've seen any implementation that really works for the internet yet (it's difficult because of flow control)
