But we are early along the adoption curve, so many clients won't find your stuff on your personal relays because they can only be configured to read from a fixed list of user-specified relays (which probably won't include your personal relay).

But gossip and coracle do it. If you publish a kind-10002 far and wide, they will pick it up and go to your personal relay to get your posts. calemus.app and astral are on board but I don't know how far along they are. snort.social writes their relay lists into 10002 now, so you can follow those people, but they can't follow you -- at least I don't think it reads your posts from your write relays (I think it still reads from it's own user's read relays, which obviously is not where you post). I haven't heard about the other clients yet.
