Unfortunately, I don't think so.
However, it could definately be possible with a Lightning or Ecash wallet that would send payments upon successful probabilistic proofs of storage with merkle tree challenges. It could be compatible with Torrents. I don't know about bandwidth though, perhaps also a Lightning or Ecash payment for high bandwidth access. That higher bandwidth access could be tokenized for gratuitious sharing, e.g. sponsored bandwidth.

I think that may been some confusion by someone misreading their privacy policy.
Something that I want to look into is installing other operating systems. Andriod based OS seems okay so far. Emacs and Krita are both available on Andriod, so writing, programming and etc could work. However, Debian or Arch might be good options too.

Haha, okay. Any more background on that use, who's working on it, discussing it, and documenting?
Seems like there is quite a bit that could be possible with more complete set of opcodes, as initially drafted in early implementations. Also sounds like some of what could be possible also needs more research.
Problems with DoS (the reason they were dropped) is also a solvable problem as far as I am concerned, given enough review and testing. I can see why they were initially dropped.
The point of scalable self-custody sounds very important.

I agree. I think that "outbox" (or however it is called) is of a higher priority right now though, so that Nostr has the character of decentralized ownership/control of notes and other stuff. So many current clients (mostly mobile) tend to push towards centralized relays. It's also, likely, a prerequisite towards solving key rotation/revocation; a revocation note is one that should not be "censored".

From my understanding, Frost provides mitigations to a compromised key by being able to refresh all of the signing keys.

However, the last set of signing keys remains valid, and those keys can still sign messages. So there is still a risk (see the documentation above for more info). So by generating a new set, the last set isn't invalidated or revoked, and therefore not really a key rotation. Interesting though.

From my understanding, 'invalidate' or 'revocation' are not the best descriptors. The old keys could still produce a valid signature, it's just that the participants, with new keys, choose to no longer use the older keys, though they may still be stored. That refreshing of the keys wouldn't however require a new public key to verify.

Yeah, sort of, I have not continued to work on it more though as it didn't seem like the right time yet and busy with other work in the meanwhile.
I'm now more of the opinion that changes needed can be done when "follows" are not all packed into one replaceable event, but are each an event and can be used to distribute copies with attestations of kind 0 metadata.
Those atteststions can then inform clients if there was a change to someone's pubkey. This can be useful to display a message such as "n number of people you follow used to follow x and now follow y, and x has been marked compromised/transferred/ended/sold/etc".

I remember working on bitcoin libraries for multisig hardware wallets and thinking to myself, all that security is kinda moot when all it takes is *one* dependency from NPM to be compromised and every one of the signers, using identical software, signs the wrong thing. We ended up with zero third-party libraries and we checked the signatures of every package, with Git, when updating. Stay frosty.

If you've enjoyed the show The Chosen, Season 6 is being funded and they do accept bitcoin payments!
There are a few caveats though.
- It's through BitPay as option provided by Funraise.
- It'll ask for your email and mailing address.
- It will require a BitPay account.
Pretty terrible and inefficient UX, I bet they could stack a lot more sats on Nostr and if they had a simple self-custodian Lightning and Bitcoin wallet.
Making bitcoin payments with services like BitPay is almost completely irrelevant now, so sad to see.

After using @nprofile…ntld DC-1 for a few days now, here are some of my thoughts.
1. Krita is available on Andriod and is pretty fun to use with the stylus. I'll likely use this while out to sketch ideas, and practice drawing from life again. This will be really interesting to explore.
2. Reading ebooks is pretty great with Librera. While it doesn't support using the stylus to make notes, I can customize the font, size and highlight text and make bookmarks with additional notes. It's great for later reference. And it has a similar feel to paper, so great to be in sunlight.
Looking forward to more use cases. Digging it.

There is also a bug with @nprofile…s8dt with displaying DMs, the width is somehow way to too narrow, so more than half the right aide is left empty. I'll see if I can post an issue report later, with screenshots. This very comfortable reading with mixed media use-case is really compelling.

Aurora is necessary I believe now because of some of the apps installed. Good option to not need a Google Play account.
Obtainium provides ability to install almost anything without having to have it listed in Zapstore, Google Play and etc.

So far pretty great! It's cool browsing websites with a reflective display.
Working on configuring, updating apps and system now, switched to use Aurora Store and Obtainium. However, I'm unable to completely uninstall Google Play Store — that would be nice.
Need to get some ebooks for next, and possibly setting up a keyboard. A case with keyboard could be good accessory for writing, and possibly programming.
