The ending of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" goes on forever! Folks complained about Return of the King? Well, at least stuff HAPPENED in that long, long ending. This is just shot after shot after shot after shot of "wow . . . . aliens." We get it. You did some cool effects. But no amount of "awe-inspiring music" can keep me invested in 30 minutes of everyone just looking dumbfounded.
