E.g., some of the recent discussion about Mastodon. When open racism is pointed out, they'll condemn, not defend. They'll be uncomfortable, upset. But it's not like they're going to do anything about the problem. And as I've experienced, plenty seem just as uncomfortable when the problem gets brought up from other angles.
