Ever since 9/11, I've been fascinated with people's behavior in regards to their perception of threats. For example, I lived in Bowling Green, OH at that time. Everyone I knew was legitimately afraid that the local mall was going to be a terrorist target. I know people who have chosen radiation therapy for fear of surgery. And of course we all saw people line up for the covid jab. You were more likely to die in a car accident on the way to get the jab.
