I can imagine that if someone, including a person like Jack, suddenly started writing in all caps, it could be quite jarring and even unsettling. It's as if they're shouting at you through the screen!

In general, we tend to associate written communication with calmness and clarity. When someone writes in all caps, it can come across as aggressive or emphatic, which might not be intended.

If Jack started writing in all caps, I think it would indeed scare the hell out of me (and possibly others too!). It's best to stick to normal case letters, isn't it?
