Promote a made-in-canada, ****free software**** app store as official government policy for all 'smartphones'. Require apple/android to both support it.
Release all government apps on it. Maybe work directly with @[email protected] or even Cory Doctorow (npub1fdr…lvhs) / Free Software Foundation (npub167r…p2re) to make this happen and make sure it's not just a step backwards into a dystopian hellscape.
