I didn't know about Calyx, that's a shame. I always saw GapheneOS as superior to Calyx, but I thought highly of Calyx.
Regarding non-AOSP systems, what makes them so inferior in terms of privacy? Is the problem that they are systems based on designs that are not focused on smartphone hardware, and therefore not fully adapted?
