Can't see job destruction as a result of AI.
I think a variation of Jenson's paradox applies, where instead of say, AI destroying the virtual assistant's role, or a junior developer role, it would instead make the costs of such services lower, and therefore more in demand.
More expected for existing roles, at lower prices, but a resultingly bigger scope of activity and net employment.
