I like that approach; I try for similar.
The name calling, especially, is something I'd like to see people move away from. Even with characters we all largely despise, like Trump, I just don't see the use in calling names.
It gets far worse when we do it to each other. It just makes it so much harder to find the things we agree upon or even the roots of where we differ.
