Wasn’t planning on sticking around for another shitshow Trump presidency but the bitcoin thing has caught me a little off guard. Might not be the worst place to be if the US becomes pro bitcoin, given its tradfi advantages as well. But he has suckered so many people, I remain super skeptical about his claims and follow through on this point.
Match that with— the fact that most places abroad that are “expat” friendly aren’t even that much cheaper than second and third tier US cities.
The option for folks to leave is actually rather muddled. I guess that’s what a good political play looks like.
